The Insect Repellent is a blend of Organic witch hazel with Jojoba, Basil (Ocimum basilicum), Cedarwood (Cedrus atlantica), Citronella (Cymbopogon Winterianus), Clove (Syzygium aromaticum), Eucalyptus (Eucalyptus Globulus), Geranium (Pelargonium graveolens), Lavender (Lavendula angustifolia), Lemon (Citrus Limon), Lemongrass (Cymbopogon citratus), Peppermint (Mentha Pepperita), Tea tree (Melaleuca alternifolia) and Thyme (Thymus vulgaris) essential oils.
All the essential oils in this blend are natural insect repellents. They have been selected as they are generally much more effective at repelling all biting insects resident in the U.K. than the usual citronella blends that are more generally available.
Citronella is one of the World’s most popular insect repellents as it kills and keeps away insects. It has been found particularly effective on a species of mosquito, called Aedes Aegypti whose bite causes the dreaded Yellow Fever.
The product is quite concentrated but essentially water based and will wash off easily.
Apply liberally to all exposed areas of skin. Suitable for use on children.
Avoid eye contact.
